Faculty Introduction 2011 for new students Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences


For all new students both the VU on central level and the faculty organise introduction events in order to prepare everybody well for what’s coming and to give you a chance to meet the people you will study with. On this page you will find some practical information on the introduction events to give you some dates to put in your calendar. University wide introduction programme


VU University Amsterdam offers an introduction programme at the beginning of each semester, meant particularly for all new international students. In January and August, all new foreign students will be given a hearty welcome to student life at our university and to Amsterdam. The introduction period for semester coming will be from Monday the 22ndof August to Friday the 25thof August 2011

Introduction programmes Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences


For all students that start their studies at the Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences we organise both a faculty introduction meant solely for international students and one that is meant for all Master students. During the introduction for international students, information on practical matters will be given by the International Office.
