Joining our hydrology master's (MSc) programme...?

In the mid-1960's, the Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences of the VU University Amsterdam was the first in the Netherlands to offer a hydrology course programme within the Earth Sciences education. During these 45 years, we have gained a lot of experience in hydrological training and have found a well-balanced mix between theory and field practice.

If you are interested in studying fresh water resources and their interaction with the environment, we offer a high-quality international hydrology master's programme with two specialisations, being hydrogeology and ecohydrology. Courses start in September and the full programme has a duration of two years.
