Research interests

 
I’m one of the technicians of the Animal Ecology department.
My educational background is in Zoology and I’m specialized in Animal Ecology
My work consists of different parts. I participate in many of the department’s research activities.
For excample:

• Microscope work
Determining soil samples from different ecosystems to study the community
composition of the soil. The soil samples originate from different places and countries.
So I’m always curious how many different species there are in my samples.

   


• Cultures 
I’m also responsible for the cultures of Drosophila melanogaster, cultures of parasitoid wasps Leptopilina heterotoma and Asobara tabida and the cultures of  springtails, especially  the culture of Orchesella cincta.
