Research interests
After finishing my master's degree at the department of animal ecology, I am currently working as a technician with Dr. Toby Kiers on several projects concerning the plant-mycorrhizal symbiosis. At this moment the two main projects I'm working on are: i) The cascading effects of aboveground herbivory on mycorrhizal communities in an east-African savannah; and ii) The context dependency of benefit; mycorrhizal induced heavy metal resistance.
